ADHD Screening Battery

School Readiness Battery

These tests will examine the seven areas of cognitive fucntioing using the cross battery approach to determine any possible processing, memory or executive functioning issues. The screening includes IQ testing and ADHD questionnaires. This is a screening due to the fact that a medical doctor makes the formal diagnosis of ADHD.
Determining when your child is ready for kindergarten can be difficult. This test is designed to help make those decisions by examining cognitive functioning (IQ) along with reading and math readiness and pre-writing skills. This evaluation can be part of your decision when deciding school readiness and what environment might best suit your student.
The tests will measure the seven areas of cognitive fucntioning (IQ) which include: crystallized knowledge, fluid reasoning, short-term memory, visual processing, auditory processing, long-term retrieval, and processing speed. These areas will be measured in relation to the student's reading, writing, math, listening, and speaking skills. In addition, a screener for issues related to attentinon, concentration, and behavior will be administered. Information from parents and teachers will be incorporated into the final report.
